So as to greet the anniversary of the founding of the our school, inherit and carry forward the spirit of patriotism, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the west campus held a spectacular chorus competition of revolutionary songs on the afternoon of 14th May.
To be specific, with their loud, clear singing and huge enthusiasm, students sang a great many classic songs such as ‘Beijing’s Golden Hill’, ‘The East Is Red’, ‘Guerrilla’s Song’, ‘We’re on the Road’, ‘Folk Song to the Party’, ‘the Song of the Motherland’, ‘Nanniwan’, ‘Defend the Yellow River’, ‘Tunnel Warfare’, ‘Night at the Naval Port’, ‘Flying Red Flag’, ‘Motherland, Motherland, the Bright Red Sun Never Sets’ in addition to ‘Homeland Will Never Forget’. Obviously, everyone was immersed in the deep love towards our motherland with excitement.
Overall, this revolutionary song contest displayed the enterprising spirit of Anqing Foreign Language School’s students, enabled all the teachers and students to experience the profound education of revolutionary traditions and patriotism as well as stimulated students to study hard for the prosperity, harmony and happiness of our motherland.
